Once upon a time, a stranger came to the remote town of Tosgan.
In order to make himself a prominent figure and attract people's attention, he began to hype up his hometown city.
According to him, there was everything. Of course, a backwater like Tosgan could not be compared to his home town.
The eloquent visitor was surrounded, when a venerable and learned man of the town came up to the crowd to see what was going on.
After a moment's silence, the wise man of the town interrupted him very politely and said, "If you were indeed born in that distant place -- that is, if what you have told us is true -- there is no point in arguing."
The stranger, humbled by this, raised his chest proudly, put his hands on his hips, and looked round at them with haughty and conceited eyes, as if to say, Look at what a disreputable people we have there!
The wise man of the town who knew the world went on: "Your town is the most hospitable, full of strange things, and we have no doubt of them. But you are the strangest fool that ever was seen in this boondocks!"
